The weekend guided walking tour starts from Castel del Monte, in the province of L'Aquila. It is a small mountain village, located in Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park; a strategic position that makes it easy to reach the most spectacular places in the surroundings.

           Day 1

• 8:30 am Arrival in Castel Del Monte and accommodation in b & b.
• 10:30 am Guided tour of the ancient village, among imposing walls, majestic palaces and ancient churches. Also interesting is the visit to the Civic Museum of Material Culture.
• 12:30 pm Free lunch.
• 3:00 pm Departure for Campo Imperatore, visit of the Botanical Garden and trekking to the Duca degli Abruzzi Refuge. During the winter season, there is the possibility of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
• 6.30 pm Return to the b & b.
• 7.30 pm Typical dinner and overnight stay.

           Day 2

• 8:00 am Breakfast.
• 9:00 am Departure for Rocca Calascio with a visit to the suggestive Rocca dating back to the century. X and built almost 1500 meters high, from which to admire a breathtaking view.
• 12:30 pm Free lunch.
• 3:00 pm Departure for Santo Stefano di Sessanio and visit of the ancient village, a jewel set in a fairytale setting immersed in a timeless atmosphere.
• 6:00 pm Return to the b & b.
• 7:30 pm Typical dinner and overnight stay.

           Day 3

• 8:00 am Breakfast.
• 9:00 am Departure for the Stiffe caves, where water and stone meet to give rise to one of the most fascinating naturalistic beauties of the Abruzzo hinterland. Here you can admire stalactites and stalagmites, the underground river and a surprising waterfall.
• 12:30 pm Free lunch.
• 3:00 pm Return.
